Prescription Policy

As a licensed Durable Medical Equipment (DME) provider, CPAP Shop USA is required by law to verify valid prescriptions for certain medical devices before they can be dispensed. This policy outlines which products require a prescription and how to submit one.
1. Prescription-Required Items
The following products are classified as Class II medical devices and require a valid prescription from a licensed healthcare provider prior to shipment:
- CPAP machines (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure)
- APAP machines (Auto-titrating Positive Airway Pressure)
- BiPAP machines (Bilevel Positive Airway Pressure)
- Complete, fully assembled CPAP masks
2. Non-Prescription Items
The following replacement parts and accessories may be purchased without a prescription when sold separately, as they are not considered complete therapeutic systems:
- Mask cushions and mask frames
- Headgear
- Tubing
- Filters
- Water chambers
- Accessories and supplies
3. How to Submit a Prescription
Prescriptions may be submitted using any of the following methods:

All prescriptions must be issued by a licensed healthcare provider and include all required patient and provider information.
4. Order Holds & Verification
Orders containing prescription-required items will not be shipped until a valid prescription has been received, reviewed, and approved. We reserve the right to verify prescriptions directly with the issuing healthcare provider and to request additional documentation if necessary. Orders will remain on hold until verification is complete.
